Ram Mandir Trust: PM Modi announces setting up of ‘Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra’: The Union Cabinet approved the setting up of Ram Mandir Trust on February 5, 2020. This was announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the Parliament names as ‘Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra
The Prime Minister stated that the trust will be named as „Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra‟. PM Modi also announced that the Ram Mandir Trust will be completely free to take decisions on the construction of Lord Rama’s temple in Ayodhya.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah tweeted saying that there will be 15 trustees in the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra including one from the Dalit society. He also stated that the trust will be completely free to take every decision related to the construction of the temple and 67 acres of land will be transferred to the trust.
Trust Members
Chairman: K. Parasaran has been appointed the chairman of the trust. He will oversee the construction of the temple at Ayodhya.
Members: Jagadguru Shankaracharya, Jyotish Peethadhishwar Swami Vasudevanand Saraswati ji Maharaj (Allahabad), Jagadguru Madhvacharya Swami Vishwaprasanna Tirtha ji Maharaj (from Pejawar Math in Udupi), Yugpurush Parmanand ji Maharaj (Haridwar), Swami Govinddev Giri Pratham Mohanraj (Pune) Vimlendra Mohan Pratap Mishra (Ayodhya).
Other Trustees: Homeopathic Doctor Anil Mishra from Ayodhya, Kameshwar Chaupal from Patna as a representative of the Scheduled Castes and Mahant Dhirendra Das from Nirmohi Akhara, Ayodhya.
Prominent persons: Two prominent persons will be selected by the Temple trust.

Supreme Court’s historic decision
The Supreme Court delivered a historic verdict on November 9, 2019. The bench in its ruling gave the ownership of the entire disputed land to Ram Lala and directed that 5 acres of land be provided to Sunni Waqf Board at another place for construction of a Masjid.
