Don’t miss out on sampling the scrumptious Irani chai in the evening. End the day with a trip to the Chowmahalla Palace.

Day 3: Visit the Falaknuma Palace after having a hearty breakfast. Make a trip to the Ramoji Film City. In the evening take some time to have the amazing sheekh and galouti kebabs on the streets of Hyderabad. Do take out some time to visit the NTR Gardens and Lotus Pond.

Commuting in Hyderabad Tourism

Hyderabad has a very smooth transportation system. State transport buses are the most preferable and convenient medium of commuting from one place to another in Hyderabad. Also, there are some local trains which connect some localities of the city but they are generally preferred by working class people.

By Bus: Bus fares will cost around five to ten bucks for most of the places depending upon the distance. However, the periodicity of bus arrival is very quick, that is, there are buses in a gap of 15- 30mins for the next ride. The bus services commence at 4:30 AM and lasts till 12 in the morning.

By Cabs: Like every other metropolitan city, Hyderabad too has cabs, share-autos and rickshaw services. It is yet a substitute medium to go back and forth. Each of them have almost similar fares. However, cabs services such as Ola and Uber have fixed rates per kilometre whereas share-autos and rickshaws run on meters.

If you are travelling in a group then opt for car rentals. It costs around INR 45-47 per hour and it also increases the comfort. Make sure to click pictures of the vehicle in case of any damage before you ride it so that the owner cannot accuse you of the damage.

1. Ramoji Film city

Once the seat of the Asaf Jahi dynasty, the Chowmahalla Palace was built in Hyderabad. It is located near the famous monument, Charminar and Laad Bazar. The palace is designed very intricately and holds that Nawabi Charm in itself.

3.   Hussain Sagar Lake

Hussain Sagar Lake is one of a largest man-made lake situated in Hyderabad. Renowned for its monolith of Lord Buddha placed right at the center of the lake, the place is famously known as a Tank Bund, a popular spot of tourist attraction.

4.   Charminar

Charminar is the most important landmark in the city of Hyderabad. The monument was erected when Quli Qutb Shah shifted his capital from Golcondo to Hyderabad. The monument got its name from its structure as it consists of four minarets. The monument looks amazing during night when it is illuminated.

5.   Golconda Fort

The Salar Jung Museum is located at Darushifa, on the southern bank of the Musi River, in Hyderabad. This is one of the three national museums in the country. Sprawling over an area of 12.5 acres adjacent to Hussain Lake, Jalvihar is the largest water amusement park in Hyderabad.

10.   Taj Falaknuma Palace
